PNC Bank: True impact goes far beyond the investment

Since 2013, PNC Bank has partnered with Avenue to expand affordable housing, strengthen homeownership pathways, and create greater economic opportunity for Houston families.
As one of the largest philanthropic supporters of Avenue Center, PNC’s investment helped establish the PNC Center for Financial Education — a dedicated space where Houston families access homebuyer education classes, financial counseling, and wealth-building resources designed to create long-term stability and opportunity.
PNC Bank has contributed almost half a million dollars to Avenue over the past decade. Over the past three years alone, PNC’s support has helped Avenue:
- Develop 17 affordable single-family homes for sale
- Educate more than 1,960 aspiring homebuyers through HUD-certified workshops
- Support 445 households in becoming homeowners
- Help 353 households preserve stable housing through post-purchase and foreclosure prevention counseling
Recently, we were honored to welcome Stacy M. Juchno, PNC’s EVP and Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer, along with members of PNC’s national leadership team, for a visit to Avenue Center and a tour of our programs and developments.
The visit highlighted the power of mission-aligned partnerships and the importance of investing not only in buildings but in people, families, and neighborhoods.
As housing affordability challenges continue across Houston, partnerships like this are more important than ever.
We are grateful for PNC’s continued commitment to building stronger communities and brighter futures alongside Avenue.
