Avenue CDC owns and manages 30 scattered-site rental units, most of which are in renovated historic homes in the First Ward, Sixth Ward, and Near Northside.  Avenue CDC received a Good Brick Award from the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance for our Summer Street properties, nine homes dating from the early 1900s in the First Ward.  Rental units range in size from studios to three-bedroom homes, all are rented at very affordable rates.
