Avenue CDC’s development program utilize “green building” techniques and materials to make our homes healthier for our buyers as well as better for the environment. All new Avenue CDC homes are Energy Star certified, reducing utility usage and saving the residents $200-$400 in utility costs annually per the U.S. Department of Energy.
In 2011, Avenue CDC will begin construction on Avenue Place, 95 single family homes to be constructed on the former Fed Ex site on Irvington Boulevard. The mixed income homes will be LEED certified and feature 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and an acre of parkland.
